About the Bike Program
Bike To School Zap Program
Join our bike to school program by getting a Zap tag. You can get a Zap tag from Linda in the office or stop by the bike shed on Fridays from 2-4 (through October). Your rides and miles will automatically be logged.
Learn To Ride Program
Volunteers teach E1 kids how to ride so they can ride in E2 bike classes
In-School Bike Rides & School Bike Fleet
Health and Gym classes have in-school bike classes using Seward's own fleet bikes. Teachers can use the bike fleet for local field trips.
Shop Rats & Bike Mechanic Skills
Seward has it's own bike shop. Middle schoolers are trained to maintain fleet bikes as well as the community bikes. MN Cycling Center provides beginning STEM-based mechanic skills.
